Big Brother - First thoughts

OK, so I think it's safe to say that the people casting Big Brother are a bunch of straight men. As per usual, we get the four or five fit girls and no (or very little) male eye candy.

I don't think the producers are aware that the majority of the viewers of their show are gay men and straight girls. Such a shame.

Anyway. Some initial impressions on this year's 'non' housemates:

Freddie - Seems ok on the surface. He didn't give a great first impression (but then, most don't). However, his enthusiastic and non-judgmental welcome of the rest of the housemates was quite nice to see.

Lisa - Definitely one of the more masculine women I have ever seen. She will go one of two ways - she will either turn out to have a heart of gold or will be aggressive and 'rebellious'.

Charlie - Fair play to him...he's a good looking lad with nice eyes and an accent that can make me melt. Shame he's not straight. Then he would be perfect.

Beinazir - Worst. Muslim. Ever.

Angel - Perhaps one of the weirdest entrances I've seen in a while. Kinda spooked me out a little bit...but definitely one to watch.

The rest, we will have to wait and see. Check back often for more thoughts and to share your opinions in the comments section...

Final thought - was it me or was the atmosphere seriously lacking with that crowd?
